Gregory Boyd helps
C@C Outreach?????? Do you know people in your circle of influence that
don’t attend church? In that circle are there two people that have had or
are in some sort of real life difficulty? How about if you were to
purchase a couple of Gregory Boyd’s books “Is God to blame?” What if you
gave that book to them as a gift? Think of how that might open up some
opportunity. What kind of follow up might that present? What if you did
that once a month for the next year? It would cost about $20.00 a month,
would it be worth it? All you have to do is contact the Church office and
let them know how many you want monthly, and then be prepared to discover
God providing you with some very obvious opportunities. I ordered two this
week. How about you?
Our Vision
If you Love the thought of helping people find God but are terrified of having to look,
act or sound like a wacko religious fanatic this might be the ministry for you! In fact, if you just want to live
the kind of life that attracts people to GOD, join in with us. You don't have to do anything more than show up for
life and be willing to let God be God.
As I consider my heart and style for reaching people, it’s clear
to me that un-churched people are best affected by Christians whose relationships emanate intimacy with a living
God. My vision is to be the kind of people that attract others to GOD because of our genuineness. In Acts Jesus
said, go out to Jerusalem, Judea Samaria and the rest of the world (The Great Commission). Thanks to the faithful
service of a few of our folks on the mission team we are doing pretty well on the “rest of the world” part of the
commission. However, I am excited to focus additionally on the center of that commission and develop ways of
reaching our Jerusalem and Judea which is Carbondale and our Valley. I trust God will give us some great tools,
power, creativity, heart and people for our church to have a meaningful impact on our community.
We will be growing as a team learning to live our lives supernaturally in our community
and set up ministries to impact people for Christ. If you want to be a part of that; Let’s Talk!!!
