Missions Update February 2007
Thanks to an outpouring of love and generosity at
C@C recently the Missions Committee was able to send extra financial gifts
all over the world to spread help and hope through practical and spiritual
resources. This is what you helped to accomplish:
• 144 Bibles published through Bibles for the
World
• $325 for relief after the recent earthquake in
Indonesia through Wycliff Bible Translators
• $300 sent to Food for the Hungry for relief in
the continuing crisis in the Sudan
• $250 to Camp Idrahaje
• 2 people will receive medication to completely
cure their condition of leprosy (today, 5 people will get leprosy)
• $500 was sent to Mission Aviation Fellowship to
support a remote hospital in the Democratic Republic of the Congo that over
250,000 people rely on
• $325 to support a local couple, Buan and Theresa
who are missionaries in France
• $325 will give help and a vision for the future
to orphans through the Children’s Hope Chest
AND we were able
to send a generous extra gift to each of the missionaries that we regularly
support!
Thank you! Because of your
sacrificial giving, people all over the world will know that our God is a
provider & deliverer and that “His love is better than life” (Ps. 63:3).
