Haitian Benefit Concert in Aspen February 11

Our small group is reading the book "Angels of a Lower Flight" written by Susie Krabacher who is from Aspen. It is about her life as well as what led her to start several orphanages in Haiti. We started reading the book the day the earthquake happened. To say the least, we are very moved by her organization's work there and are in the process of partnering with her organization, "Mercy and Sharing", and possibly as a church partnering as well. The Wheeler Opera House in Aspen is supporting and has agreed to give all proceeds from a $25 concert of local musicians on Feb. 11th to Mercy and Sharing's work in Haiti. Join us in supporting this ministry and having your heart move towards those in great need who were even in great need before this earthquake. Please join us in supporting the children of Haiti and those who have been working there and are working even harder there now that the earthquake happened: "We are telling a story with this concert. The story of the abandoned, forgotten children of Haiti. As you continue to learn about what was going on before the earthquake in Haiti, you will start to understand the level of destruction that is now in this area. Seeing the images after the quake, our hearts were moved to do something bigger than just give what we have in our pockets. We wanted to put forth some extra effort and try to collaborate with everyone we know and everyone they know to come together with one heart and one mission, to help these children. Men's Winter Adventure March 12-14

We have room for 30 guys to attend our annual ‘Winter Adventure ‘at the Diamond ‘J’ Ranch above Basalt, CO.  Don’t miss this event!  Activities include snowshoeing, hiking, hot tubbing, and feats of strength.  Bring your sleds, snowmobiles, cross-country skis and a hearty appetite.
